Our Mission
To provide a program that offers children a safe, nurturing and creative environment to play and learn. We offer an early childhood program that provides the concrete experiences and active exploration that will enable your child to develop a strong, positive foundation for learning.
Learning Activities
- Social and emotional development through sharing and play.
- Math and science activities that incorporate shapes, colors and numbers.
- Cognitive development - story time and activities that teach letter and sound relationships.
- Small motor activities - using scissors, glue, hole punches, bead stringing, writing, sensory activities.
- Large motor activities - gym equipment, outside activities such as running, jumping, and climbing.
Special Features
- We focus on pre-academic and social skills using developmentally appropriate play activites to prepare students for kindergarten.
- Music and movement class provided once a week for each section of classes.
- Gym class provided once a week for each section of classes.
- Field trips to promote world awareness.
- Cooking activities to enhance learning and student independence.
- Assessments are sent home mid-way through the school year and again at the end of the year for both the 3 year olds and the 4 year olds.
